Large Infrared Gun with Case

The Large infrared gun has a 1:16 spot to distance ratio and an 8 dot targeting system so you can accurately see the area it’s measuring.

It’s packed with features, allows you to set custom emissivity (the measure of an object’s ability to emit infrared energy) values, and has built in error codes to let you know when conditions are ideal or not. This Infrared gun also has a type K probe slot on the side for thermocouple leads.

All of our infrared guns are temperature verified prior to shipment.

Full of features

MIN / MAX / AVG Mode: This shows either the maximum, minimum, or average from all of the temperatures that have been read. Each mode will display simultaneously with the active temperature.

Lock Mode: This mode turns the gun into continuous recording mode so you can take temperatures for up to 60 minutes straight. This is great when used with the MIN, MAX, or AVG modes.

Color Bar: This bar will show you when a reading comes close to the MIN (Blue) temperature, the MAX (Red) temperature, or falls in between (Yellow) both of them.

Strong Backlight: If it isn’t, the battery is usually close to being done.

Battery Life Indicator: The Large Infrared Gun tells you when its full, getting low, and empty with three different images.

Hi/Low Alarm: This feature alerts you when the temperature is either higher or lower than what you set it at by flashing the text on the screen.

Eight-Laser Targeting: The gun shows the area that you are measuring with 8 dots that completely surround the area of measure.

The large infrared gun can handle most outdoor temperatures, but over the winter make sure you store them indoors, and during the summer make sure you leave a window cracked.

Replacing the battery fixes 98% of most errors and incorrect readings, This thermometer even tells you when the battery is low.

Error Codes:
Er 2: Thermometer experienced rapid changes in ambient temperature
Er 3: Ambient temperature is outside of the range the thermometer can work in
Er 5-9: These are all different but are all resolved the same way. Remove the battery for a minute and then put it back in.
Hi / Lo: The thermometer is reading outside of its range. This can happen when using a probe if its not inserted completely.
